Draw a line. It turns solid. That line is the only thing between two dreaming children and the nightmare chasing them down.

Dreamica is a hand-drawn falling adventure built around one mechanic: you never touch the characters, you draw the world they fall through. Every stroke of your finger becomes a real physics platform the magic bubble bounces off, slides along and hangs from. Curve it to steer. Flatten it to brake. Build a roof to stop a laser. It feels less like pressing buttons and more like casting spells with your fingertip.

THE DREAM

Dakini and Damarion fell asleep in their own beds and woke up somewhere else — in a dream haunted by a ghost that never stops. Running from it, they stumbled over the edge of a chasm so deep it cuts across dimensions. The wizard Walmond caught them the only way he could: he wrapped them in a magic bubble. It keeps the nightmare out, but it is thin as soap film and pops on the first thorn. The spell cost him almost everything, so he cannot help any more. From here on, it is your finger that keeps them alive.

DRAW, BUT NOT TOO MUCH

Lines cost mana and mana refills slowly, so you cannot simply scribble your way down. Draw too much and your hand is empty at the worst possible moment. Stop too long and the ghost closes in. The whole game lives in that gap between drawing and falling.

FOUR WORLDS, ONE LONG FALL

Descend through misty swamps, a frozen winter, the heat of hell and into the endgame, each with its own art, music, creatures and traps: grabbing roots, spitting cannons, burning lasers, mines, spikes, fans and spiders you have to squish before they reach the bubble. Obstacle layouts are generated fresh every run, so no two descents are the same, and checkpoints keep the worlds you have already reached.

COLLECT RUNES, GET STRONGER

Runes fall with you. Spend them in the dream market on more mana, faster regeneration, longer lines, more health, and a ghost that hesitates a little longer before it lunges.

FINISH IT, THEN DO IT AGAIN

Reach the end and Dreamica starts over — harder. Beat it on hard and the impossible difficulty opens up. Nobody is going to believe that screenshot.
