HIZTESTI runs an internet speed test in seconds: tap GO and your download speed, upload speed and ping appear on screen. Use it as a Wi-Fi speed test at home, on fibre, VDSL or ADSL broadband, or on 5G and 4G mobile data.

WHAT YOU GET
• Live measurement: the gauge moves with the data throughout the test.
• Responsiveness score: shows how long your connection keeps you waiting when it is busy, and what that means for video calls, gaming and 4K streaming.
• What you can do at this speed: ready-made ratings for browsing, video, gaming and calls.
• Share results: one tap to share a link or an image.
• History: every speed test result is kept on your device, with averages, highs and lows for 7 days, 30 days or a year.
• Details: ping, jitter, packet loss, data used and distance to the server.
• Wi-Fi and mobile data: the connection type and the mobile network type (5G, LTE, 3G) are recorded.
• Runs in the background: leave the app and the test continues; follow the progress in a notification and get told when it is done.
• Home screen widget and Quick Settings tile: see your latest result and start a speed test with one tap.
• Monthly summary and record notifications; turn them off in Settings whenever you like.
• Server choice: the nearest server is picked automatically; change it whenever you like.
• Optional account: sign in with email, Google or Apple to sync your history across devices. You can delete your account from inside the app.
• Export: download your history as a CSV file.
• Tablet layout, dark interface, Turkish and English.

WHEN IT HELPS
Run a speed test when your internet feels slow, after switching plans or routers, to find the room where your Wi-Fi drops, or to show your internet provider the speed you actually get; every result stays in your history with its date.

HOW IT MEASURES
The app uses the same engine as hiztesti.com, with servers hosted in high-capacity data centres in Türkiye. Results are comparable with the website and the command-line tool.

PRIVACY
Location is added to a test only with your permission and is never shown on the public share page. Your Wi-Fi network name stays in the history on your device and, if you have an account, in your own synced history. The privacy policy explains what is processed and why: hiztesti.com/en/privacy
